Whats app rolls out Snapchat-like feature

Whats up with this snapchat editor ish social messangers are now incorporating?
Instagram had already copied this ...Now whatsapp.. Who knows who's next? fb?

This is what i saw in the update of Whatsapp beta. You can learn how to be a beta tester in that link, so you get to test new features before they are incorporated into a new version of d app.
So at least the snapchat  craze would calm down for a while..
